Yes, you have to be online. As the Moovly app synchronizes with the Moovly servers, an internet connection is required via either a WiFi network or via your mobile internet connection. 

Please note that synchronizing media such as videos, high-quality images or sounds may involve transferring large files and as such may have an impact on your mobile data consumption and associated costs. We therefore recommend to use the app when your device is connected via WiFi.
